Pangea VPN is currently in active development and is provided “as is” with no warranty. The desktop app is open source under the GNU GPLv3.

Get started

Download Pangea VPN

Available for macOS, Windows, and iOS. On a Mac, you can install with a single Terminal command — no manual download needed. Desktop builds aren't code-signed yet, so follow the steps below.

Recommended — fastest way

Install with one command

No download to hunt for. Paste this into Terminal and it downloads PangeaVPN and sets up the VPN service automatically. Then just follow the four steps below.

curl -fsSL https://pangeavpn.org/install-mac.sh | bash

01

Open Terminal

Press ⌘ + Space, type “Terminal”, and hit Enter. (It also lives in Applications → Utilities.)

02

Paste the install command

Copy the command above, paste it into Terminal, and press Enter. It downloads PangeaVPN and sets up the VPN service for you — no separate download needed.

03

Enter your password

The installer needs administrator access to set up the VPN service. Type your Mac password when prompted — you won't see characters as you type, that's normal.

04

Launch PangeaVPN

When it finishes, open PangeaVPN from your Applications folder or Launchpad and sign in. That's it — you're protected.

Why isn't it code-signed?

Code signing certificates require annual fees that we'd rather not pass on to you during early access. The app is completely safe — you can inspect the source, and nothing runs in the background without your knowledge. A signed build is on the roadmap as we grow. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out and we'll be happy to answer them.
